How to Stop Sending Email Action Plans to Bad Emails

If your Follow Up Boss emails are going to spam, it's likely because your email reputation has been damaged by sending emails to a fake, bad or undeliverable email address provided by online leads which is causing a high email bounce rate.

Here's a FUB lead flow to prevent your action plan from trying to send emails to bad email addresses, causing high email bounce rates from your Follow Up Boss CRM.

This requires you have CallAction email verification services to your account.

How to Setup Follow Up Boss Lead Flow

First, you must request the Lead Flow Delay feature from Follow Up Boss. Once you have Set Delay enabled in your FUB account, follow these steps to modify each of your current lead flows that receive online email leads.

  1. Login to Follow Up Boss

  2. Click on Admin

  3. Click on Lead Flow

  4. Click on Advanced Settings of an existing Lead Flow

  5. Click on Set Delay

  6. Select Wait 1 Minute for more information

  7. Click Save

  8. Select Tags & Include

  9. Click on + sign to select a tag

  10. Select the Email Check Deliverable tag

  11. Click Save in the top right

All set, now your lead flow will not trigger an action plan if the email was check and found to be undeliverable.
