Set a Delay in Your Follow Up Boss Lead Flow
Use the Set Delay in your Follow Up Boss lead flows to allow verification of new leads before triggering a Follow Up Boss Action plan.
You can use this delay to check for bad emails submitted by online leads or to check phone numbers against the national Do Not Call registry, known TCPA litigators, etc.
Activate Follow Up Boss Lead Flow Delay
You must request access to the lead flow delay from the FUB support team via support@followupboss.com
Lead Flow Delay Settings
You can set a lead flow delay duration at any step of your existing Follow Up Boss Lead Flows. The set delay duration options are:
10 Secs
1 Min
3 Mins
5 Mins
You may also wait for a phone number to be provided before triggering the action plan.
How the Follow Up Boss wait for phone number setting works
If you select "Wait up to X minutes for a phone number before routing a lead" delay.
FUB will only wait to route the lead if that lead does not have a phone number.
If the lead does not have a phone number in the first event, but a phone number is provided by a subsequent event, then we will route the lead after the phone number is added.
If Follow Up Boss never receives a phone number it will route the lead after the specified delay.
