Use Verify to Scan Your Sierra Interactive Lead Export CSV File

Run our Zapier Zap to Update Sierra Interactive with Custom DNC Tags

Open your Sierra Interactive account and do a lead export of all contacts you wish to scrub against the DNC. You should have a downloaded a CSV file from Sierra Interactive. CSV should be uploaded to Google Sheets.

Create new Tags in Sierra Interactive to be used in Zap for segmenting leads.

- Verify Deactivated Phone
- Verify Email Deliverable

Create Verify account and upload your Sierra Interactive contact list to Verify for a DNC and email scan.

Have an active Zapier account connected to your Google Sheet and Sierra Interactive.

Create a free Verify DNC scan account.

Enter a List Source Name such as Sierra Interactive All Contacts

Click Choose CSV file to select your Sierra Interactive export file from to upload

Click Upload & Verify Contacts (allow Verify a few minutes depending on file size)

Once your data is uploaded, review your free Contact Data Audit report & pricing

Select plan Phone or Phone + Email

Enter Payment details to start scanning your data file

View progress of Verify scan. You'll be notified via email when the DNC list scrub is finished. You can leave the page and return later.

Click Export CSV to download your Verify scrubbed CSV file to your computer.

10. Your export the Verify CSV file it will be named: verify_contacts_(your list name).csv
11. Upload your CSV file to Google Drive to use our Zapier template.

Create or Login to your Zapier account.

Open the Verify DNC to Sierra Interactive Zap template

Select your Spreadsheet; verify_contacts(your-file-name).csv file from Google Sheets

Select Worksheet

Select Trigger Column; Phone DNC Registered
(Note: you can use any field as the trigger to segment contacts)

Click Continue

Click Test Trigger

Click Continue with selected record (You may select any Spreadsheet Row)

Click Continue

Edit Filter to Select specific files to update (Below is example for: DNC Registered phones = Yes and Email Deliverability = Deliverable)
(Note: you can create different worksheets with this information on each worksheet to skip this step)

Click Continue

App should be set to Sierra Interactive

Action event set to Update Lead

Account select your Sierra Interactive Account

Click Continue

Lead ID or Email or Phone, select Email

Note we suggest entering the following labels and map data for complete Verify DNC scrub details in your Sierra Notes. (Copy & Paste text below into note & add merge fields)

Tags select your custom tag(s) based to filter the your Sierra Interactive contacts. (Note: You must have Sierra Tags previously already created; make sure tag(s) don't trigger a Sierra Interactive automation)

Click Test Step to make sure Zap is working correctly

Click Publish to start Zap and update contacts
