Call Tools
Below is an overview of each calling tool included in the Tools Follow Up Boss app. We have designed the workflow to be natural and logical when preparing to call a contact.
1. Confirm Number Status via RND Database
Instantly check the national FCC RND database to verify if a phone number has been reported as deactivated and/or reassigned to another carrier.
Why is this Deactivated Number Check Important?
Every year, over 100 million phone numbers get deactivated from a carrier and reassigned. If you call or text a phone number that has been reassigned to another user and they are listed on the DNC you maybe exposing yourself to legal TCPA liabilities.

2. National Do Not Call Registry / DNC Check
Scrub a contact phone number against the national Do Not Call registry. You'll see if or when the phone was registered on the DNC to keep you TCPA compliant when calling.
Tools will automatically check the primary phone number but you can also check any additional numbers using the form.
Why is Checking the National Do Not Call Registry Important?
If a phone number is listed on the DNC, you must have an established business relationship (aka EBR) or a valid TCPA opt-in to call. Note: this is not legal advice, seek legal advice from a qualified attorney.
3. Known TCPA Litigator Scrub
This tool allows you to check a phone number against a national database of known TCPA litigators.
Why is the Known Litigator Scrub Important?
Phone numbers that have been reported as associated with a past TCPA lawsuit are checked in real-time. You can avoid possible high-risk outreach that may end in a legal liability.
4. Best Time to Call / Timezone Check
Don't recognize a phone number area code? Quickly run a phone number check to determine the area code and prefix of a phone number to determine the location and timezone.
Why is Timezone Check Important?
Avoid upsetting your contact and possible legal liability of calling a phone number too early or after hours based on TCPA rules.
5. Generate a Call Opening Script
Not sure what to say? Now that you have verified the phone number you are about to call, you can dynamically generate 3 call opening scripts and possible objection rebuttal ideas based on your contacts Follow Up Boss stage.
Why Are Call Scripts Useful?
Often agents, VA's or ISA's have call reluctance because they are unsure how to start the phone call with a consumer (especially older leads in different CRM stages).
The goal of the Tools call scripts to spark some ideas on how to start the call to ultimately lower call reluctance and get salespeople to make more phone calls which will lead to more sales.
