How to add an API key to the Follow UP Boss Tools app
Some of the Tools app solutions are only available when it's connected via the owner's Follow Up Boss api key. Connecting the owner API key gives you and users full access to Zillow Zestimates, public property data, and map-based views of your inquiries.
This is a two-step process that takes a minute to complete.
Generate the owner account Follow Up Boss API key.
Save the API key in Tools
Note: This is optional and is not required to use the Tools data verification, calculators and coaching solutions.
How to Generate a Follow Up Boss API Key
Login to Follow Up Boss
Click on Admin
Scroll to Integrations and click on API Keys & Lead Email
Click Create API Key
Enter Tools as name
Click Copy API key and done to close.
Now you are ready to connect the API your free Follow Up Boss Tools account.
How to Add Follow Up Boss API key to Tools
Click on People
Click on any person's details record
Go to Tools on right side
Click on the red dot next to your name
Paste the FUB API key
Click Save
You will see the red notification is now removed and you can see the notification for "API Key Connected" like the image above.
Now everyone will have full access to any and all current and future Tools that require API access.
