BoomTown! to CallAction API Integration Process

The integration is quite simple and will take you less than 5 mins to complete. There are two main steps.

  • Authorize CallAction to access BoomTown! API

  • Connect CallAction Numbers

Note: BoomTown! API access limited to users with access to the these BoomTown! plans:

  • BoomTown! Grow Plan

  • BoomTown! Advance Plan

If you are on lower level plan, you can still integrate using our BoomTown! email parsing option.

How to Setup Boomtown! API

  1. Login to CallAction

  2. Click on your Profile on top right

  3. Click on Integrations

  4. Click on the BoomTown button

  5. Click on BoomTown Integration Verification

  6. Enter your BoomTown User Name & Password

  7. You'll be redirect to BoomTown Sign In

  8. Click Submit

  9. You'll be returned to CallAction

  10. Click Save All Changes

Now, your CallAction account is connected to BoomTown, you must activate your CallAction phone numbers that will sync data to your CRM

BoomTown + CallAction API Settings

Here are some basic settings available for the integrations.

Active - ON / OFF. Default setting is ON. This indicates if this current API integration is currently turned ON or OFF to sync data.

Collect All  - Default setting is OFF. This is used if you have a master account & you want to collect all leads from all numbers to a specific BoomTown API account. In most cases this will be set to OFF.

Existing Lead Assignment - Default is OFF. If a lead is captured in CallAction, the API will check to see if the leads already exists in BoomTown!. If Yes, you can decide if you want CallAction to reassign the lead to the CallAction user or to keep it with existing user. 

Next, we must activate the API setting on your CallAction number(s). 

Activate Your CallAction Phone Number

  1. Login to CallAction

  2. Click on Numbers

  3. Click on Manage of the phone number you want to connect to API (NOTE: Must do this with each number in your account)

  4. Scroll and click BoomTown ON

  5. Click Save All Changes

We all you to individually select which of your CallAction numbers are synced with the ON / OFF setting.

You also have the ability to select how CallAction assigns the lead within Boomtown using the drop-down selection. 

Do You Have Multiple BoomTown CRM Users?

If you are using the CallAction lead router / call broadcast system to distribute leads to your team, you can have the claimed leads automatically inserted into your users BoomTown account.

Setup BoomTown User Accounts

  1. Each user must login to their individual CallAction account

  2. Follow BoomTown integration instructions above

  3. Click Save all changes

Done, now each individual CallAction / BoomTown real estate CRM user accounts are synced in real-time. 

BoomTown Collect All Setting

This setting allows the admin to capture a copy of all data from every CallAction number automatically into a master BoomTown CRM account.  

Trouble Connecting to BoomTown API Token?

Try resetting the BoomTown API token.

  1.  Login to CallAction

  2. Click on Profile in top left

  3. Click on Integrations

  4. Click on BoomTown 

  5. Toggle all settings to OFF

  6. Click Save

Now you can try to reconnect the BoomTown API with the new token. Be sure to turn on integration on the Integrations tab of your phone number?
