How to Make a Call or Send a Text using CallAction

You can call or text using your CallAction phone number from both mobile and desktop. 

Call or texting via your CallAction will automatically create the contact in your CallAction account. All outbound calls can be recorded, transcribed and synced into your API integrated CRM or favorite Zapier Zap. 

Make a Call or Send a Text from Mobile

  1. Login to CallAction

  2. Click on top right icon

  3. Select the CallAction phone number  to call from using drop-down

  4. Enter phone number to call

  5. Enter name

  6. Optional: Enter a text message

  7. Click Call or Text

CallAction will then call your phone and when you answer will automatically be connecting the call using your selected CallAction number.

Make a Call using Desktop VOIP Dialer

  1. Login to CallAction

  2. Click on Conversations

  3. Click on top right icon

  4. Select the CallAction phone number  to call from using drop-down

  5. Enter phone number to call

  6. Enter name

  7. Optional: Enter a text message

  8. Click Call and select browser or cell phone or Text

If you select browser call (VOIP dialer) you will need to authorize access to CallAction to your browser and use a headset.

After Call Follow-Up 

After making a call, you can tag the contact with the outcome of the call. You can also add a note or write a text message and schedule it to send later

Lastly, you can apply a follow-up drip campaign with ringless voicemails to automate your task list
