How to Make a Call or Send a Text using CallAction
You can call or text using your CallAction phone number from both mobile and desktop.
Call or text via your CallAction will automatically create the contact in your CallAction account. All outbound calls can be recorded, transcribed, and synced into your API-integrated CRM or favorite Zapier Zap.
Make a Call or Send a Text from Mobile
Login to CallAction
Click on the top right icon
Select the CallAction phone number to call from using the drop-down
Enter the phone number to call
Enter name
Optional: Enter a text message
Click Call or Text
CallAction will then call your phone and when you answer will automatically connect the call using your selected CallAction number.
Make a Call using the Desktop VOIP Dialer
Login to CallAction
Click on Conversations
Click on the top right icon
Select the CallAction phone number to call from using the drop-down
Enter the phone number to call
Enter name
Optional: Enter a text message
Click Call and select the browser / cell phone or Text
If you select browser call (VOIP dialer) you will need to authorize access to CallAction to your browser and use a headset.
After Call Follow-Up
After making a call, you can tag the contact with the outcome of the call. You can also add a note or write a text message and schedule it to be sent later.
Lastly, you can apply a follow-up drip campaign with ringless voicemails to automate your task list.
